Hi Im in Sydney and have built several versions of the hydrostar. I have had issues with the circuitry put forth with the original plans that I found in a new age magazine ("spirit of raa" or similar).i found a modified circuit on the net (specific mods to the throttle input). - 3k I have built several chambers but not to the same specific size quoted in the hydrostar plans. They fizz hydrogen like poured lemonade bubbling when connected to the pulsing circuit even when the pulsing cicuit frequency is randomly tuned. I have since connected the ocillator input of the 555 to a sound card in a pc with a tone generator prog. -testing in progress for resonant frequency-
I have reservations about the flashback arrestor in the hydrostar specs. I have built one but have not tested it!
Does any one have knowledge of a better type of flame arrestor?
